The 18-round magazines (you get 3 of which plus a 6 round) give you a good amount of firepower, but they do extend down a lttle bit too much for my son's tastes. The front shield piece fantastic addition, since it has a cross-hatched window that you can look through. This unit was easy to collect and has worked flawlessly so far. This package also contained 60 darts which might be commonly used in other Nerf guns. Best Nerf Blaster actually, Hands Down.
I simply got this today, and I ADORE it! I have had a new "blast" (no pun intended) by it, possibly the funnest dart blaster we've ever owned. It includes several attachments/magazines: a forwards grip/bipod, a mountable shield, 1 6-Dart Clip, in addition to 3 18- dart catalogues. It is fairly long lasting; nothing feels like it is really loose or too vulnerable, and the only wobbly part may be the removeable, mounted shield, and only when it's not mounted perfectly. The best part about the gun is also the worst, the fully intelligent capability. It shoots the darts in the fairly high rate, making the smaller 6-Clip almost pointless. Also, before you have this blaster, you will need to know; it does possibly not, I repeat does not have a manual priming device. You must have 6th D-sized batteries to hearth this blaster. Also; reliability? I don't think consequently. Don't expect to make any 20 feet at a distance. Don't get me erroneous, it has the strength, more than enough, only not the accuracy.
overall, this is a excellent toy. If you received 50 bucks to use up, this is it. A warning so you can get this for children, this can be a tad heavy, about 4 1/2 pounds. If he/she can be a pre-teen or teenager, this toy are going to be perfect. A great product for Christmas or a new birthday.
